She's got class and, man, I really like her style.
When she's around,
I know I'm gonna wear a smile.
To make her day,
I would 'run' that extra mile!
I get all choked up
when I see her comments on my page.
I will testify
that we are pretty close in age.
The years add up, but
we're still gettin' minimum wage.+
She's a unique person
and I like her point-of-view.
I get misty-eyed
when I know she likes mine too.
She loves children
and there's nothing for them
she wouldn't do.
The best thing in life
is when, with love,
we raise a child.
If they're abused...
God, you know
it drives her wild.
When all is well,
queenie's peaceful,
meek and mild.

doesn't give her any jive.
She'll 'go postal'
(if it's needed to survive).
Read her poems...
they'll make you glad
that you're alive!

this made me laugh and cry at the same time.i am so blessed.this is a thrill because you so much know me.to know that one of the most favorite poets of mine on this site enjoys me as much as i enjoy here is a blessing.my eight-year old will have a grand old time singing this and that makes it even more special.of course it goes without saying that it is done in excellent form,the same as you always do. -

Woohoo! I get to be the first to comment on this! I totally agree. I tried to write a poem for her too, but my Muse wouldn't cooperate. (Bad Muse!) I'm so glad to see her given her regal due by another of my favorites. Excellent work; excellent subject! Kudos to you both.
