radioactive clay

For an eternity, it seems, i have stood here
always at your side

a thousand laughs have graced my ears
a thousand tears have touched my face
a thousand sighs have tortured my lungs

the earth spins with the emotions here
a long awaited tempest is approaching

what the outcome will be
no one knows

will the foundations be pulled from the earth
will a gentle rain cleanse the soul

either will bring a new era to the chosen
two will stand

together or apart
there is no "no man's land"
no middle ground

the earth in my mind will fall and fade
or be raised anew to live and love another day

all rests on one word uttered from your lips
all rests on your response to my outcry

will it be yay or nay
will my heart burst or shrivel

The world pivoting on a single word... leaving one so out of control, so ... pivotal. Will we be impaled or lifted? Who can see any further than that?

    emotional

WoW! truly a piece that is very thought provoking and saddens any heart... I know this feeling and I'm sure many more can relate. Just think... Sometimes one must endure the bad in order to see the good. Alas there are those who endure too much... Thanks for sharing this love. Take care of yourself and those you love. Always ~Star
