A crisp cool autumn day
Leaves falling
Wool coats and holding hands
Walking together in a park
Children playing
Snuggling close together
Sharing thoughts and ideas
Whispering secrets
A private world you two share
Beautiful day, good coffee
Great conversation
That is what Sundays were made for

Author notes
I just needed to see this away from my word program. I am still working on it. These are just scattered thoughts that will hopefull evolve into something.

Heyness. Thank you sooo much for the comment on my poem. That is very true (about people not really getting what was intended out of the poem). But yeah...this poem is relaxing. It made me think of my boyfriend
. Yes yes, must applaud!

Well for scattered thoughts, they're wonderfuly put together!! This is how sundays..or other days as well..should be spent, with a special someone, holding hands, strolling in the park.. what a lovely picture that paints!!!! A most delightful read Anna...beautifully done!!

great
Sundays are made for Football-oh yeah, and the NBA-and kids. Liked it alot.... -
I completely share your sentiment here. This is EXACTLY what sundays should be like. It also helps that my favorite season is fall... Have you heard the song, "When its raining on sunday,"? It has similar sentiments... Sunday should be about relaxing with those we love.

Something about this reminds me of my "breakfast" poem series... lol I love lazy sunday's, taking it easy, not having any place to be or anything i have to do.
This is nicely done, enjoyed it!

I like it the way it is.
Its simple, and hints at so much, which can be (and is in this case) very lovely.
It was so sweet.
I would suggest changing 'holding' to 'held' in the first stanza.
