I just found out that a dear friend of mine died yesterday and it conjured up memories of this wonderful poem. I first read this poem at my grandparent's home about 50 years ago and loved it. I think of the poem often, especially when I think of friends I should have kept in touch with.
). Anyways, I'm glad I got the urge to look it up again. It's a wonderful poem.
