while the dragon hovers near.
He lends his healing comfort
to take away the fear.
Life, death, and then rebirth
is what the dragon teaches.
Help is there in sun-lit beauty
if the man awakes and reaches.

Someone you know from out of your past
comes back in your life again.
Karmic deeds are at issue here
where good for good will begin.
But if by chance you’ve a debt to pay,
the price may be very high;
For there’s a decision that you must make;
Use your instincts to determine why.

Author notes
I wrote this series last summer and began posting them. I took the prose version of the Celtic Dragon Tarot interpretations and put it in verse form. I'd also included the illustrations, but was asked to remove it because of the copyright infringement. I'd given full credit to Conway and Hunt and didn't claim them for my own, but there were apparently other legalities.
So...for the legal beagles out there.... These are MY words, although they were inspired by Conway.

Thank you Bill for your comments here. This series on the Tarot Cards was a fun thing to do. I'm thinking of something on the Runes to follow...but haven't gotten that far yet.

those vision of the past repeat themselves within our hearts and in our lives when we least expect them!
You have me thinking on this!
Keep penning on one stroke at a time!

Often time we take the sign of one of the past, as one to rekindle and start again anew, forgiving or clinging to that moment. Yet so many times, it is not the step back that it is willing you to take, but the test of strength to turn it away with peace and move onto a new place, a place of now and tomorrow...never yesterday. Another great interpretation, you do a marvelous job on these. Blessings, Gypsy

Your talent for putting these in poetic form to describe the individual cards with such clarity is absolutely astounding!!! You have a truly amazing talent!!

Now this poem is really complete! Your best, I must say and 'maybe' the best I've read too! Keep it up!

awesome
Ahhhh... the debts of Karma when applied to today can be awesome. This piece gives instinct the upper hand, and banishes the possibility of pain relived. Again... a piece straight out of your soul. Beyond excellent.
