Thank the Lord that you exist, sir,
To make safe our homeland sweet homeland,
Those pretty colors scare us,
Just as they're meant to:
It's easier to control a populace
When they live in fear; Stalin knew.
And thank the good Xist that you are here,
Granting un-Constitutional freedoms to airport personnel,
Giving them free reign to fondle passengers,
I feel safer already.
The security you provide, the comfort level I reach
Because of you, the warmth, the smothering blanket;
Yeah, God bless you, sir.

Great write AP as always, I wish I was even half the wordsmith that you are. Anyway, let me drop some knowledge on you folks. Tom Ridge is Secretary of Homeland Security, He's part of the Bush regime that has put all these wonderful new scare tactics er uhmm I mean new policies in place to violate, uh…. I mean protect the American people. Does anyone find it odd that a large number of Bush’s staff have been replaced or resigned? That doesn’t normal happen….. hmmmmm…. -
very good rhyming. Great imagery.
Keep up the awesome writing.
I look forward to reading more of your work in the future.
