Palms start sweating...
My heart starts racing.
I see dead thing fall next to me.
It is dark and scary out here.
There is no life about...
just me...
I'm alone
with all these dead things.
I pull my sweater closer to me,
to keep out the chill
of death.
Oh! What is that?
There is a figure hunched just up ahead.
Oh goodness...
I hope they don't see me.
I creep up behind them...
slowly...
there is a pile of dead things next to them.
My arms reach out and push them into those nasty dead things...
they gasp...
and the pile of fallen leaves crunch.

I liked how you gave it a good twist....great job -
Nice and clever. Just the way it should be. I really liked this one. It had a little suspense to it and ended nicely.

Funny how the night and shadows can turn the most innocent of things twisting our imaginations into over-drive. I enjoyed reading this very much. Thanks for entering and good luck in the contest.
