Sir John Falstaff, a knight most rotund in girth
In Nell Quickly's tavern spent many a night of mirth
Quaffing ale with Bardolph, with Pistol, and with Nym
Whilst Nell and Doll Tearsheet made giggling sport of him.
Young Prince Harry he often would regale
So long as the prince put up crowns for his ale.
With his belly full of sack and Cornish hen with spice
Bawdy Falstaff indulged in every sort of vice
And as he and his compatriots were drunk on summer mead
Young Harry grew listless at the tales of Falstaff's deeds
"Sir John, You boast of greatness, but the greatest thing I find
Is the great amount of fabric needed to clothe your fat behind
So I offer you a wager- I shall buy you some new clothes
If you can stand upon your feet, and bend and touch your toes!"
Sir John laughed and said "my dear Hal, you jest!
Surely you do not mean to put me to the test.
Why, I would win that wager, and you will thus be mocked
So withdraw your bet now, let it not be said I balked"
But Bardolph said "Please sir John, this I have to see!"
And Pistol and Nym begged the knight to try and reach his feet.
Sir John stood and took a breath, and slowly let it out
And leaned forward cautiously, as would a man in doubt
and slowly, ever forward, around his girth he peered
to try and see those little toes, he hadn't seen in years
When suddenly he lost his balance, and to the floor he fell
and shook the ground so heavily, he rang the Mission Bell.

Why don’t you Penn comedy for Comedy Central on TV?
I don’t know if you know this fact as I’m laughing in the aftermath
Some of the finest comedians such as John Belushi and others got their break by
Doing live theatre and studying at Second City here in Chicago.
May Be they have a course by email!

Nice job. I always preferred Romeo & Juliet to any other Shakespearean work...but that's just me. I remember learning about Falstaff though...excellent job in your descriptions here!
