That Jani would awake
We didn't want death
To have to be her fate
On October 10th
Of two-thousand four
Jani had heard God
Knocking on her hearts door
Now we all mourn
The beautiful lady we all miss
We ask God why
You took her from our mist
And if you listen
You'll hear God's reply
I took her from you
Because it was her time
Her work on earth was finished
She did her lesson well
She spoke of Me so often
For in her heart I dwell
She taught her sons about me
As well as her family and friends
And as long as you keep her words in your heart
Her life doesn't have to end
Remember this sweet lady
That I put there for awhile
And whenever you think of Jani
Just think of her with a smile
For all of her love and caring
She'll be watching over you
She'll be your special angel
For her heart was pure and true
Author notes
This is in dedication to Jani (Honesty-Abound). I pray that it will bring comfort to all of us who mourn her passing. When you remember Jani, remember her with a smile for she wouldn't want to see you crying if only for a little while.
She was a friend to us all here at AP and if you didn't know her, read some of her poetry.

so full of compassion
I want to cry, but you made me smile for now i know she is truly smiling thank you sis your heart is very warm! I love you -
This is so bitter sweet. We know she's gone but as you say we shouldn't cry we should smile knowing that she's in such a better place. She must be very happy to know that all her friends here at AP are still here for her and her family as she look down upon us.
May god bless you

Beautiful
Bertie,
I will sure remember her with a smile on my face. You said this so wonderfully that it makes me feel good - knowing that she is in a better place now. My words aren't coming out right but she was such a beautiful beautiful person with a kind heart. I will forever miss her but she will always remain in my heart. Take care and be safe.
May the colours of the rainbow follow you always and forever.
Smiles always,
Kristina

I didn't know Jani, but have read a few of the poems dedicated to her. They are all very sad, but at the same time they are hopeful. I am sure that wherever she is she is very happy. This is a lovely poem. Jani seems like she was loved by a lot of people.

This is a beautiful poem that adds hope in the midst of the sorrow of loosing Jani. She is an angel and always was an angel and you answered our questions perfectly. It was obviously God's choice to decide it was her time and she had finished her work here. Look at all the people that she touched with the love of Christ in her heart. I am sure that he is so proud of her and now she has her wings to fly with.

A lovely write in memory of a soul who obviously touched many hearts whilst treading this earth. May this be a reminder for us all that we are here but for a short while - living on borrowed time. Let us live to His glory and with compassion and love.
I pray that God will dry all tears and strengthen Jani's beloveds in their loss.

Bertie,
You have described Jani so well. She was an angel to all those she knew. You captured such a beautiful essence of her. She loved anything with wings and tis background is so appropriate. Thank you so much!

Beautiful words, Bertie.
Bertie,
What can I say? This was absolutely beautiful. We should be thinking of Jani with a smile on our faces. I love you so much Bertie. It is hard to write the words that I truly feel. My heart is aching. I love you.
With lots and lots of love,
