To Light Up Your Life

My heart seems to feel this unbelief you explain,

And this void of hope leaves you quite empty

But I'd build a bridge over your river of pain,

With words I weave of peace, love, and sympathy.

I know not the trail you are going through,

But have the hope of a new day in song

A prayer that I sing in angelic tune,

That will ease all doubt and build faith strong.

I will ask the dear Lord to grant you healing,

And then walk the path where faith does its part

Then dance to romance and start a feeling,

Of laughter that would heal your heart.

I'd carry you like the angels would,

With powerful wings that shine of white

And mend all misery that I could,

So you could sleep well at night.

Dream of life as a fairytale,

Awake afresh with a new day's dawn

Then you'd know, that love cast its spell,

And you can sing in your heart a new song.

Oh, goodness, Timothy. Tears are forming, making my temples hurt and my eyes feel too hot. I needed to read this one. This write is genuine, from the heart of true compassion where no judgment exists. Beautiful heart you have! That's where inspiration that heals the wounded spirit comes from. Your writes flow like an artesian well. Thank you for this one. I believe I can get through my day now, my week, my month, even my years. And I love fairytales too. Love to you and yours. Be blessed!--Kel :

    Stunning

As always impeccably wonderful Your words never fail to inspire me or lift me up in some extraordinary way. Sometimes I think that is your purpose in this life, to heal the hearts of others, and to help them with their faith, even when you are struggling with your own. Much love always.

This is a beautiful and such a wonderful thing to write for another person. This was such a very uplifting poem I can't imagine anyone not being inspired by it. It is great to know that their are so many people here that are ready and willing to offer their words of comfort to each other. That is where our talents work for us.

Beautiful write. You did an excellent job. It was a very uplifting and sweet write. Its refreshing to see a write that's not sad and depressing. I do like those kind because they are very emotional but this write was so emotional and full of love that it was equally as powerful and from the heart as those types of piece.Great job. Thank you for sharing.

Very good poem Mr. Timothy. With the line about the Lord, does this show a reoccurance of faith? Best of luck for you in all your travels.
