December is a most magical month
Each child is full of wondrous joy
Carolers are singing on street corners
Every girl and boy is dreaming of toys
Merry Christmas is sung on the radio
Berries have ripened on the holly tree
Eight tiny reindeer are getting ready
Rudolph will guide them, so they may see
Days are getting shorter, it is Winter
Remember Pearl Harbor Day as you pray
Evergreens, scenting the air with pine
Another Christmas is now on it's way
Mangers and baby Jesus are in churches
Icicles are hanging from the tree
Not a creature will stir in the house
Greeting Santa Claus Christmas eve

You have done a delightful job with your December acrostic. Very nicely done, and a pleasure to read.

Our winters are pretty wicked sometimes in the hill of Pennsylvania. It's a small coal town, about 8,000 people. The snow turns black by the third day from the coal dust. If you ever saw the movie, How Green Is My Valley, well that's Tamaqua PA. A little valley surounded by coal minds.Actually I like small town living. Great for the kids except for the coal dust in their lungs.
Thanks for the comment. I'll ask Santa to bring you some toenail clippers this year. But you have to be good, so forget that idea.. Take care, Sandy
