October Birthdays
O ctober is special to me, for Birthdays
C ome the thirteenth is my Husband Bobs,
T hen Mitchell my grandsons is the twentieth.
Oh, they are so very much alike in many ways!
B ob turns sixty six, Mitchell turns fifteen.
E asy to see they are precious to me
R ight from the start, Bob had my heart.
B ob is my rock, the one I lean on for support,
I love all my grandchildren, they are all equal.
R eason why Mitch is special, he had been ill
T he first two years of his life, head surgery
H e had at seventeen months, head wired six places.
D octors said he would never do things normally,
A hh but he proved them wrong, right from the start.
Y ou only have to see all his medals and trophies in
S wimming, running, football, basketball, karate.

October is a balance month!
Many librans are born in october and they are balanced in every aspect of life. I was also born on october 7, though i cannot boast about balancing, however!lol

Go the October birthdays...mine is the 7th
so this acrostic jumped out at me. Written with a lot of feeling for those you love...have not tried my hand at acrostic much but did enjoy this one Joan.

The joys of family. Isn't it amazing how we can stand to the side and watch our family grow, and boy have they grown.
Can you believe Michael is fifteen? Can you believe that Bob is sixty-six. I know you can easily remember when he was young! I have many birthdays' in my family in October as well. As a matter of fact, two nieces today! Deidra is 30 and Lisa is 35. My grandmother was born in October, the 26th. My cousin Michelle, the 18th, her sister Nicole the 30, and of course my eldest son Ray, Halloween the 31st. This is a wonderful October acrostic...My husbands is the 31st and my daughters is the 18th. The only sad part is the 31st is also when My young 10 year old niece died. IT will be 2 years.
