Love On a Quest.

Love a quest a journey,
Baggage heavy to carry,
The growing load of life,
Searching the map of wonder,

Happiness attained or lost,
Together other destinations,
A small road of hope closed.

Growing in age not sense,
Chasing outer when all inside,
Loves expectation to come,
Achieving  love, life begins.

The baggage line hit home, and the only thing I feel left out (personal advice not really to the poem cuz it rocks) is that the longer you have walked on the road the more dang baggage you seem to pick up!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment on my haikU!

    Excellent

Love is indeed a journey. One that many of us take several times ... always in search of that ever elusive destination.
If we are among the fortunate, we find it eventually.
    Yes, very thought provoking.

Love really is a journey. Never really thought about it that way but I guess it surely is. It never stops either, always moving, always changing and you have to stay with the quest or get left behind. Nice job on this. It was very thought provoking.
