There is only a few times in life
When I have run across true friends
The kind of friends that will be there
No matter what the situation may be
Friends that I can be myself around
Whether I’m having the best day ever
Or the worst possible day in history
These are the people I want to hold on to
With all of my might and never let go
You are my friend
For this I thank you

A most wonderful tribute to your friend..and what better way to express that you appreciate them, than through poetry. I will always feel it's one of the nicest gifts to give someone. I'm sure this friend will feel very touched by this piece. We do need to look after our friends, because like you say, they see us at our best and worst times, yet they still stay

There is not many left that you can call your real true friend,as many of us know how friends can really be.
Once and a blue moon in your life time one real friend will pass by and just say may I help or give you a shoulder to cry on,or even maybe say your my true friend for life.

Very nice....where would we be without our friends...this is just great I can completely relate...I always want friends around because I know that no matter what they will be there...when I got divorce and felt like I couldn't go on there where there and now that all that is in the past they are still there just go hang out with or just call and see whats going on or if my kids sick they wanna know if they can help....friends make the my world go round...I can relate to this very well..thanks for sharing

Dear Annastacia,
This poem just about says it all as far as true friendships are concerned. I am satisfied that I have a few friends in my life. I think I'll find one of these days that the people I have worked with for the last twenty years are my friends, even though we have never been to one another's homes or stuff you'd imagine friends doing.
It is beautiful to have someone who's special though! Happened to me a few times.
To have a friend is to be a friend, that is the rule of thumb!

I know there are times in everybodies life we feel alone and that we don't have any true friends. But look deep and hard and I bet there is ONE person out there who truly cares about you. If you still have trouble finding that person then consentrate on the here and now and work hard at creating a friendship with someone new that will last. Thank you for stopping by.
