Fragile, to the eye with soft
voice as to weave a spell deep;
undercurrents, of support and
comfort with her lilt;
Strength, lies within this slight
frame, belying, a willpower
and cussedness to match
all that is thrown at her;
Learning, to bent as the willow
so not to break, and spring back
before despair takes control
is how, this waif, in the wilderness survives;
Persona's flit, as with a butterfly's wing,
dancing this way and that, catching
the sun's final rays; Bows her head with
dew, till the daybreak.

wow cant believe this has been posted for 3 months and noone has commented ...the way u use nature as a metaphor for the subect's life is very well done and i can almost feel the weight pressing down on me yet there is optimism not to break ..but ..spring back ..the harder we fall the higher we bounce
