Light This Fuse

Strike the match and light this fuse
We are the ones who are gonna lose
With the media ruling this nation
Fear is spread to our population

From the West Coast to the Middle East
The coverage of tragedies will only increase
The media is fueled by hate and fear
Little things are made to sound more severe

Bombings and plane crashes are what they seem to favor
You are wasting your time by praying for a lifesaver
We'll never be able to escape the news
So strike the match and light this fuse

They media will only show the tragic side of life
They are only interested in the world's strife
It will only end when flames fall from the sky
The media will control America until we all die

    assignment or not it rocks!

    I have ta write a "book" frr my english class!

    I can understand your anger and annoyance with the media. They really seem to think that all the public cares about is the bad part of the world. They try to ruin EVERYTHING. "Can ice cream cause cancer? Find out at 10." You did a great job with this. Very clear message and language. You didn't confuse me with too much metaphor. Very well done. FIGHT THE POWER!
