...blue gray is also called cadet blue. If you look at a Blue color wheel, cadet blue is considered darkish gray or light blue.
Cadet blue looks both colors. It depends on how you see things, though.

wow... this is really deep... its sad too... sheesh, i dont know exactly what you mean though... i mean why would it turn gray? wouldnt it turn blue? id ont get it... oh well... maybe im thinking too much! haha
anyways... nice write!!! I liked it either way
