Things always seem to go wrong
And I always suffer long,
When things go good they should prolong
And I will soon after become strong.
I should try with all my might
To follow God and His light,
Place Heaven in my sight
And don't let Satan give me a fright.
Over Satan I have soared
Using the Bible as my sword,
And though church sometimes may be a bore
I have still rightfully served the Lord.
I live each day that God has gave
And for others a way I pave,
Here on earth I did behave
And will die happy in my grave.

You have a good imagination and you're very good at making people see what you're thinking... which is a very good thing.
I liked also that this had very nice flow and you worded it very well.
My favorite verse:
Things always seem to go wrong
And I always suffer long,
When things go good they should prolong
And I will soon after become strong.
Yeah. You will end up strong in the end, no doubt about that!
