Confession

My friends, when they are sad
Makes me also feel sad.
I feel helpless, I want to help
I want them to always feel glad.
If I could help believe me I would
I only wish that I could,
If there was something I could do
To help them overcome feeling blue.
What can I do to help lovely people
That doesn't mind spending time with me,
God help us, and please help me
To help those that are close to me.
I wish that my life was easier
So that I could be a better friend,
To put my friend's souls at ease
To help and always be on hand.
But I'm a disease, an unwanted curse
That don't know anything but how to hurt
People that are dear to me
Because pain is all I know how to be.

I noticed that this and the other poem was written 4 years ago. From reading your author's page, it seems like you've came a long way. Life can be so damn hard sometimes, but our words are the art of our pain. We become the great alchemist when channeling the overwhelming emotions. Sweet write.

The fact that you've written a piece about your friends is touching and this shows how lucky they are. its beautiful and a touching tribute. its natural emotion to feel pain wen someone close to you feels pain...
