You are my Lady

You are my Lady

If I stand back and let you love me
How would it go?
Will it go smoother than it ever did before?
Could I stand on the other side of the room
and feel your love?
Could I then lay by you, and still be able
to touch?
How much love are you willing to give/
A good night kiss, like I was your kid!
Or maybe be the initiator in all activities
Bedroom and poetic with no discrepancies.
I'm a married man that never goes home
I'm still that same figure that you fell  in
love with over the phone.
Minus the ring and that little piece of paper
You are my wife, Baby, you are my caper
Never again, Will I pray for another.
We started in fall,
Now lets go straight to the summer.
Please relieve me of my past
I can't stop the game
If I wasn't impatient, I could have
given you my name,
Not that you want it, maybe you just wanted me
When I leave you I'm not with my wife,
Won't you call me if you don't believe me.
5147 and 1619.
If I ain't at one of these number
I'm at my daddy's house in between.
It ain't hard to say where I would rather be
If I ain't kicking it with my homies,
I have to be with my Lady.

Ha! How rich, my dear. Of course it would go smoother. Anything with the freedom to develop within it's own course is sure to flourish as it never would under a close scope of watch. Perhaps, you should listen to some Edith Piaf. You don't have to know French to understand it.

Wow! Real I just read his poem for about the tenth time but I just had to comment. This is amazing. I know what you mean. Love is so strange sometimes. It does seem as though you have strong feelings for this person, but if they must question your love for them maybe that's not where you should be. Love is painful and love conquers all so if its meant to be then it will be.

Interesting - it seems you have strong feelings outside of your marriage...I know, I've been there. Good luck with everything in the future!
