Eighteen Months

As the clouds covered the sun, allowing a single ray of sunlight to splashed onto the casket, of a beautiful child. Kassandra remembers, how a normal doctor's visit had turned into a death sentence. Eighteen months old, her daughters life was being measured in weak beeps. Gently, she held her. Looking over to the hospital courtyard, the water glistened as light peeked onto a fountain. She watched her daughter fight to breath, yet the world kept turning.  In her sleep, hellish reenactments of everyday terror, so vivid. Pleading for mercy, her cries go unanswered. She will never be the same.

We all come from the same source and will all return to that
source when we pass, where once again we will be united with those who have left...

    Hugs...Eddy
