There, once was a piggy named "Mopsy"
who had a sad case of the "Dropsy"
she lived in a sty, with a fabulous guy,
who's name was "Fitzgerald O'Wopsey";
Now "fitzy" was pink and so broad,
that he had to breath in, when he snored;
poor "Mopsy" my dears, was often in tears,
when the snoring got terribly loud;
so she'd cover her ears, with mud she
had ploughed from the sty, where she
stayed with her man ;And when he awoke
he often would choke and declare "what
you got in your ears"?
Now " Mopsy" was cute, and all
through this rebuke, she would smile
all the while with a grin; she would walk to the
door, and pick up grandpa's saw, and proceed
to make music so loud;
The farmer, came running to find out
the din, he thought a poor piggy
was ill; But, when he got there, it was all he could stare
seeing "Mopsy" composing a "Reel";
The music, got faster, it went round and round;
And the people they stopped and they stared,
for dancing and "Reeling" for all they were worth,
was poor "Fitzy" and Farmer "Darjeeling".
Now off "Mopsy" went to seek platforms
to vent, all her songs, from way up in the hayloft;
she climbed, and she played, then she verily
swayed ,from the front to the back of the ladder.
The " saw", it came down and just then , with a frown,
"Fitzy" yelled at the top of his voice ;
"She's" gonna come through, move on back, it's no zoo!
save yourselves, mind that hoist!!!
Now, Farmer "Darjeeling", fell flat on his back;
landing right in the mess, and the mire;
And, as for poor "Mopsy" her face as on fire,
came down, with a bump and a bruise;
so "Fitzy"the kind one, he gathered her up
and a cuddle he gave her right there; A
kiss on her pink nose ,is better by far
than a bruise on her squashed "Derriere"
