I, am of the mighty ocean,
in it's hurry to drag you under;
Reaching, from beneath the caverns
below; Soft, filled with sand and creatures
unaware of your existence; Having enticed
you here to my water world, I intend for you
to remain, amongst my sisters; We have hunted
for the long ships, for thousands of years in our quest;
Many escaped, but not you; You, shall remain with us;
And, we shall teach you the call of the dolphin, and the cry
of the whale;
As you, remain here and develop your tail.......
in it's hurry to drag you under;
Reaching, from beneath the caverns
below; Soft, filled with sand and creatures
unaware of your existence; Having enticed
you here to my water world, I intend for you
to remain, amongst my sisters; We have hunted
for the long ships, for thousands of years in our quest;
Many escaped, but not you; You, shall remain with us;
And, we shall teach you the call of the dolphin, and the cry
of the whale;
As you, remain here and develop your tail.......

Wow...i really liked this one! OH, and you used Ariel's pic. I love fantasy, and this was a good poem. I really enjoyed it. I just got done reading a book about a mermaid... (it's called Sirena, by Donna Jo Napoli...if you were wondering.) and i thought it was great to come to your page and read this! I also wanted to thank you for writing me. And no thank you to promoting any of my poems. I don't really want to. Thanks for the mention though.
Well, gotta go... take care!
