The Apology

Missing image

Sadness, tinged with an apology;
To be accepted with hope for
forgiveness;

Unthinkingly provoked, disappointment;
Dismay, at offending a
friend.......

Author notes

I am sorry.......

    Aw, its short yet so descripting and just bluntly tells you what is wrong. Its sad to lose trust or hurt a friend. This is very touching and I found this well written and expressed. Great Job in writing this... Have a Happy Thanksgiving! ---Sara

    Thank you Rebeka... I took a lot of time with this poem ( even though it looks short) because I had offended someone I never meant to offend. Many thanks for your kind words

    oh i know this sadness iin knowing how much a beloved person has been hurt or let down due to my thoughtless actions..this short verse whispers to the wind and to me the emotion of regret and remorse...very beautiful, both poem and graphic.

    Ms Cutie, Just to make you ‘jealous’ - we have a family of Kookaburra's come to our back door each afternoon for nibbles - they are beautiful birds (rather fearsome hunters though - they wouldn't like Ireland they can catch snakes).

    Ms Cutiepie, very nicely penned - I don't believe you have done anything requiring a need to apologise. - Besides that is a Kookaburra in the image. - This would imply the only thing you could have done to upset someone is to drink all the beer and/or look, long at someones shella and neither act sounds like you to me. – lovely poem – thank you

    Awwww cutiepie... I hope this helped put your relationship with the person this was intended for on the road to renewed friendship. What a beautiful way to have apologized. Great job!

    Beautiful shot. The bird is as sweet and delicate as the apology. I hope it is accepted, or has been already. "I'm sorry" are two of the most beautiful words in the world. (After "I love you" and "stay".)

    Very nice. Thanks.

    What a way to forgive! I hope this person surely forgives you. By this poem you sound very sweet! This was fantastic! Beautiful write, I loved the line:

    "Sadness, tinged with an apology"

    Once again, excellent write!
