My Ray Of Hope

I don’t want to ever leave you my love
my life, it is in your hands to hold.
To be happy, a love sent from above
can we recapture the love to remould?

From this day forward I will say to you
I love you still and I always will care,
You are my soul mate, I know this is true,
We can never be together ever as a pair.

So I will forever stay with you always now
ask God to let us meet maybe some day.
It will take time I know, I’ll get by somehow
Time is the best healer,so they say.

I know you still care, I know I can try to cope
with missing you, for that is my only choice.
Regrets I will never have, you gave me hope,
you gave me your love, for this I’ll rejoice.

You are to me my ray of hope.

    It is nice to have someone to love and never let from. I know this feeling, as does every human being, but it is always different for each us, with different backgrouds and societal dictions under which we are place, but this piece brings back the universal aspects of love to me that make it so connective to personal experiece. I think this piece was great. It made me remember and think of things I have not thought of for a very long time. Thank you for this very beautiful experience.
