my eyes look upon you
held captive by sweet smiles
mingled with burning passions
held prisoner by eyes
that read Even the most deepest
the most darkest depths
of my lonely heart
a fire that brightens
Even my most darkest hour
a love that turns horrid despair
into over whelming joy
hands that caress and tickle
destroying walls built of desperation
of my lonely heart
loving lips that touch mine
in the heat of the moment
making promises of brighter days
bringing two souls together
bound by love bound by destiny
piercing this entrapping illusion
of my lonely heart
two hearts belonging for ever to the other
lives offered freely but taken lovingly
for my whole world, my life
my best friend, companion, and lover
these are the things you have become to me
these wonderful things that stand in opposition
of my lonely heart
and as we lay here this night
both wrapped in the arms of the other
knowing our futures lie before us
interwoven for all the days were alive
now i can finely say good bye
to the pain misery and memories
of my lonely heart

it is not always that we are lucky to find someone who loves us as deeply and more and we are also at the same time able to return their love back...and when such gift comes onto us...it is one of the most precious ones that god's given us...and so....its always always good to cherish the gift and make your loved one feel "special" ...and awaken our own self to the joy and beauty of love...very beautiful write...thanks for sharing

Hmmmmm...this made me think immediately of a note i sent to the one i love this morning:
This morning as i awoke
and sleep began to lift,
a thought of you passed through my heart
and i smiled at the gift.
For a moment you were beside me,
I felt your arms wrap tight,
it was then i knew that you had been
right next to me through the night.
It is amazing what love can do to transform us from someone who feels dead inside, cold...never daring to hope for an end to the pain. And then, when we least expect it...love arrives to save the day.
Sorry, i am rambling...but i am sitting here smiling...because this poem made me think such sweet thoughts. Thank you!
