constants

time heals all wounds
all wounds heal in time.
the deeper the wound,
the thicker the flesh becomes.
the thicker the flesh,
the tougher the surface.
A tough exterior
weakens the interior
and a weak interior limits the heart

Author notes

don't let time heal all your wounds
For they will heal in their own time
A deep wound is not the end -
only a beginning
Thicken the flesh, without thickening the mind
be strong on the outside, but mindful on the inside
that way you can keep it together without falling apart

That's so true. Wow... I'm just learning now how much a tough exterior really does weaken the interior... that happened to me and it got to the point where I had pretty much lost all good thoughts pertaining to myself. If only I had read this a year ago I wonder if I would have heeded such words of wisdom... oh well, as the first line says my wounds will heal in time! This was really greatand one of the reasons I personally love it is because of the gentle repetition of ideas... not overpowering just reinforcing. Keep it up!
