so you think no one cares or loves you,
so do about a billion other folks

you say you are going to cut yourself,
so have said about a billion other folks
BUT...
There is a difference don't you see,
perhaps because you do not want to
or maybe quite simply because misery you seem to enjoy
Of those billion other folks,
more than half seek out healthy options
They enlist professional help,
talk to a family member or friend,
take up something they enjoy,
change jobs...
OH YES the list goes on
BUT...
They do NOT sit in front of a computer
to whine and cry about their misery all night long
They do NOT cut themselves, steal, smoke weed
or what ever else it is YOU do
attempting to gain sympathy, attention and rebel.
NO ONE can make you feel inferior in ANY way,
unless you let them
So YOUR TIME has come
to get off your rear end,
wake up, grow up and start utilizing some brain power
STAND UP FOR YOURSELF

Ah well I thought you were taking a pot shot at the ap kiddy cutters, which I have done on occasion since it's become such a trend that I don't understand and because it has become the thing to do, they won't seek help. "NO ONE can make you feel inferior in ANY way,
unless you let them" That's true. They need your full permission to do that. Good post. One that needs to be done over and over though not sure it'll help. Like you said, some enjoy the idea of suffering, if not the suffering itself.

you may it sound easy but yet the world isn't set that way for everyone and we die many times over yet don't because we care and yes I smoke a weed but its meant to be legal yet I may have to dig a hole in the backyard or something like that one day to hide my habit lol but its my peace right now but I try to work it off
if only there was more people that could talk it out, you know like really debate everything, I would truely agree with you but I do so much understand as I seen things in my jounrey that could be changed greatlly by more inner connection, I have high hope values

Ouch, very harsh. Ultimately i agree. Sometimes, more often than not, i feel that i only ever seem to feel anything at all is when i'm angry or hurt. Admittedly, i do enjoy ranting and complaining a bit. Don't we all... lol. I haven't come across such an imposing, strong piece of writing for a long while, if at all. I congratulate you on creating such an impact, Nikki.

This is a very passionate piece of writing, and I agree that we all need to find healthy solutions for our problems. I'm not going to single out people who feel self destructive, because I've been there and it's not fun. However, dwelling on negativity makes it bigger, I'm not into that anymore either.
I'm wondering why you chose this word order, "simply because misery you seem to enjoy" when misery belongs at the end, and coincidentally there's a rhyme.

very powerful, but as you kinda state in a way, some people like feeling low and depressed. it is kinda sad that it is like that, some people like pain, heh... But, no excuse, you are right in the end

Some of these depressed people really need to look at themselves in the mirror and have someone tell them they are special. I am a manic depressent, but, I don't want to hurt myself, I try to help others that helps me feel good. If they could turn things around and feel more optimistic life wont be that bad....Wonderfully explained hopefully this will reach out to others who need it THANK YOU TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS LAURA
