Daddy

Daddy Daddy
please look me in the face
and tell me i'm not a disgrace
daddy please

Daddy Daddy
why can't you look past the bad times
and never remember the good?
this is killing me

Daddy Daddy
when get get along the love is so strong
but when we don't, it's like my world is falling apart
i don't want to feel alone

Daddy Daddy
I want to make you proud
though, all i ever do seem to do is let you down
its like i'm a failure in your eyes

Daddy Daddy
i don't do things to make you upset
i do them because it's for me
you might think it's a bad decision, still, it's my own

Daddy Daddy
i love you so much
i wouldn't make a choice to make you disapointed
that's not the ultimate goal in my life

Daddy Daddy
we're learning and growing
and though i'm 18, i know i'm still a child
your baby girl is what i'll always be

Daddy Daddy
we'll get past the hard times
as we always have before
and look with hope into the future
