Can't Sleep

I'm wide awake at 5 a.m.
I don't know why I can't sleep.
Even though my head is clear,
...I've never tried counting sheep.

Sitting here all alone
In the glow of my computer screen.
Jeez, I wish I could get to sleep.
I can't even blame it on caffeine...

I've got things to do tomorrow.
But, I guess tomorrow is today.
If I don't get to sleep pretty quick,
I'll end up sleeping all damn day.

Umm... yeah. My clock says 5:20 a.m. right now, and I am not asleep. I just figured I'd write something small for the hell of it.

    I LOVE Spaceballs! It's one of my all time favorite movies! Ever! Ok but to the poem ... What else to say other than it's good, I like, and you rock... hmm. Well I got nothing. So ... you rock!

    Hehe. Thanks No, you didn't wake me. And I was going to bed. Or, I was trying. I don't think I got to sleep until 6 or so. Otherwise I might have gotten up earlier, and then been able to visit you and my crazy sister.

    very nice. it's sad and funny at the same time.

    mt sleep schedule has gotten very messed up this weekend. gotta fix that.

    Lol, that was nice. I hate not being able to sleep, especially when I have lots of things to do the next day. But I rarely have a busy schedule, so thankfully it doesn't bother me too much Nice poem, well done.
