The journey was proposed,
and though fraught with many risks,
the nine agreed to go.
Though faced with hardship, loss
and strife, they persevered,
courageous heroes all.
now here at journey’s end,
their task at last complete,
they sail into the west.
Author notes
this had to be written in tercets and trimeter, hence the brevity of it. I tried to think of a subject that also had to do with the theme of 3, and this popped into my head- a trilogy, how appropriate.
