Sun Kissed Green River

The sun set on
A whispered sigh
And came to kiss
The river goodbye
Then in courtsey
Across purple skies
Serenity leaped in
Birch tree sung lullaby
it matters not
How far i may roam
For the Green River
Will always call me
Back home

Of course the first thing I think of when I hear
Green River...is serial killer and the Green River killings...
    But that's just me...LOL
Or of course the CCR (creedence clearwater revival) song
