I thought you cared
But I guess not
Used again
I helped you when you needed it
I was there when you wanted to talk
I thought I was your friend
Used again
When I got back to town you were so excited
said we would do stuff
but did we ever?
nope, used again
So why are you surprised at how I feel?
Did you think that I wouldn't figure it out?
Why are you so stunned that I feel like I....
was used again
So what happens now?
are you going to make some more promises?
that you won't keep
Or call when you need a shoulder to cry on
Did you ever plan to do anything?
Or was I right when I said,
I was never your friend
Just someone to use.... again
I should be used to it
But I always fall for it
thinking of someone as a friend
when i was just used..... again
The sad part is that I will still be there
for you to cry to
for you to talk to when ever you need it
for you to use.... again
Because I still care
And because I will show you love
And it will happen time after time
being used..... again

Hello Hebrews 1-3-5-6!!!First of all I want to thank you for your comments on Micah6:8.I am truly glad you liked it...and yes feel free to share it at your college.That's what I write my poetry for...to minister to all and to share the goodness of God.On your poem"Used Again....I am sorry that so many people have hurt you..I know the feeling well...but in spite of how many times we are hurt God still wants us to forgive others as He has forgiven us...This doesn't mean we are to continue in allowing others to use us.He wants us to be wary and know the devil when he tries to manipulate your life.In 2 Thessalonians 3:2-5 it says And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men for not everyone has faith.But the Lord is faithful,and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue doing the things we command.May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christs perseverance.
