Thank You Jason (live4eternity)

Dedicated to live4eternity

Thank you my dear friend for your gentle words
How my whole life has changed since I've known you
Amazing wonders and happiness now fill my life
Now that God has made my life brand new

Knowing our Dear Lord has given me strength
Your gentle words began my search for God's love
Only God knows why he brought you into my life
Until I met you I did not believe in Heaven above

May all of your days be blessed with God's love
Your gentle voice shall speak of God's sweet words
Follow our Dear Lord and rejoice in all his splendor
Reach out, a silent voice is waiting to be heard

Invite lost souls to open their hearts to God
Embrace these strangers as you once did for me
No words can describe the joy and love in my heart
Dear friend thank you for opening my eyes to see

What a wonderful tribute to a friend. You have made me very inquisitive to read his work, and I shall. Very nicely written. The best to you in this challenge. If you never get to see him on earth, Heaven is the place to be!

    Much Love,
    Renee

This is awesome. The form and flow is good, but it's the content and the emotions that inpsired it that make this a great write. Good luck in the contest.

I had to change that line that begins with Until. I didn't realize it nade him sound dead already. He is alive and well.I meant because I'm a christian now I will meet him in heaven. He lives in another state and we only talk on the phone. At my age I don't know if I'll ever have the chance to meet him in person. He is a poet on here. line4eternity Thank you for the wonderful comment. Sorry about the mistake. Take care, Sandy

Wow, I was blown away by this piece. There's something about the way he brought you to God, but now he is in heaven. It's fairly meloncholy. And I guess it's like that for me, too. I really learned to believe that I believe from someone who now looks down on me from heaven. But it wasn't her life that showed me, it was her death. Anyway, I'm rambing I know. Amazing work, as always. Thank you for taking the time to open everyone's eyes just a little further!
