My Dear Friend Jason
Your website has been silent much too long,
we all miss your poems and your sweet songs,
so turn on your computer and hit those keys,
I'm begging you please, I'm down on my knees.
I miss your gentle words, they make me smile,
so sit your butt down and type for a while,
God gave you the talent to write young man,
that's why our dear Lord gave you two hands.
I don't know what else to write you anymore,
I can't say the devil made me do it like before,
I was talking to God,he told me what to say,
Jason,"stop to smell the roses along the way".
So don't shoot the messenger, that would be me,
I didn't have to say a word, God said, "I see"
I'm writing only what God has put in my heart,
just walk over to your computer and push start

I wrote this for my dear friend and fellow poet, live4eternity.I hope this inspires him to write some more wonderful poems.

A WONDERFUL POEM
Yes this was love filled. He is the young poet who led me to God. He was having writers block for awhile and needed some encouragment. Always a pleasure to hear from you. -
Too late in the day to comment practically on this but then the poem is a sweet take off and an inspiring one for the main protagonist who must have by now written many more due to this love filled come on tribute to him..Shubs

Yea he is such a fine young man. He's the one who help me find God, so we talk on the phone. He promised last week he would start writing more. This was a little reminder.

It takes a special person to notice all the little things on a place as big as this site. I hope your friend sees this and knows how much somebody here cares. I also hope he feel like writing again soon so you will smile more.

Yea, God knows, and so does Jason. He doen't want the wrath of God set upon him. He's such a sweet guy.He and his wife are so nice and sweet. Thanks for the comment, it made me chuckle

Thanks so much for the nice comment. Sometimes he needs to be motivated to write. I emailed it to his house so I know he'll have to read it. He called last week and promised he'd start writing so I wrote this to remind him. Take care, Sandy
