Another Glorious Day

Lord I feel your warm embrace all around me
I feel your love wrapped around me each day
knowing you're always with me my dear Lord
helping me through, You always light the way

Since we met my life overflows with wonder
your love is new, I found it four months ago
You have taught me so much about dear Lord
but there is so much more I still do not know

Sometimes it all becomes very overwhelming
now and then the tears will begin to flow
Lord that's the time You always remind me
I am not alone because my Lord love me so

I am so grateful my friend told me about you
Lord you are all he spoke of and even more
I will always love my dear sweet friend Jason
for helping me find the path to God's door

It has been a long hard journey to find you
You have always sounded too good to be true,
this time as you reached out for my hand
I was waiting there to live my life for only you

I thank you for the comment. I like writing poems to God, it let's me feel close to him. I am the only one to believe in Our Lord in my family so they are not too interested in me talking about Him all the time. I blame myself for not having God in my children's and grandschildren's lives growing up. If I could only turn back the hands of time, how different their lives could have been. Thank you again for taking the time to comment. Take care, Sandy

Very nice, this reminds me that as Christians we have to strive to be like him. We’ll never achieve this being human, but the challenge and the cross are all part of the actual strive itself. Much like our own cross. You have me deep in thought with this one. God bless.
