Into the fray, goes the muse...
Take my hand,
walk with me…
Let us go placidly,
amongst the fray, and life's storms,
side by side, for years to come.
Our walk brings us peace, love, serenity,
for all is well, within us…
Into the fray, comes the muse...
At each other's side,
on our future's walk,
our hearts combine…
Bring us close together,
for we both have need…
Let us walk through life,
together, against the storm…
Our hearts open,
the other enters…
Into the fray, comes the muse...
Together we go as two,
to become as one…
The confusion of life
passes us by,
for our love
strengthens us…
Our life together,
makes us whole…
It is said, "to the victor comes the spoils"
the victors are we,
to enjoy the spoils of life…
Into the fray, comes the muse...
As we are seen,
whether together, or apart,
let all know,
love fills our hearts,
for each other...

lovely
i love to read poems that are about real happy love. this one is what i like to call hearty. its full and robust, and fills the reader with a sense of well being. i also liked that way you incorparted your muse. wonderful.

An overwhelming need to write comes from inspirational works like this. The muse has a lot to answer for. -tj-

I really liked this. You have read so many of my poems and commented on the majority of them and I wanted to repay you, and I am glad that I did. This was truly beautiful. I really loved the first stanza, especially the lines:
Take my hand,
walk with me.
Let us go placidly,
amongst the fray, and life's storms,
side by side, for years to come
Truly wonderful. I do not have a lot of free time nowadays, but I promise, I do not care how long it takes me, I will read every one of your muse poems; if they are half as good as this one, I have lots of great reads ahead of me
