Three mean frogs
Three mean frogs
See how they jump
See how they jump
They all jump onto the lily pad
They sit and spit and just look mad
Did you ever see frogs behave so bad
As three mean frogs
Three mean frogs

mean frogs! oh what next. - I love your take on this - but I've never seen a mean frog - now if you were talking Toads - yuk!!!
The tune is caught in my mind now - and possibly will be for the rest of the day.

Cute. Funny. Who'd've thought?

Yea I was happier as a kid then most kids seem today. They grow up too fast and don't enjoy just being a kid having fun. Take care, Sandy

. Naturally I said of course.
Thanks for the nice comment. Take care, Sandy -
Excellent
Great adaptation of "Three Blind Mice." I loved this and I think the kids would love it, too. Just because they would love to see a mean frog spit. Terrific entry into this contest. And, very appropriate for children. I know I laughed. LOL -
You had to rewrite a nursery rhymne so mine was the one for three blind mice. That's how long it is suppose to be. I grew up with no money too. But back in the 50's everyone was poor so none of us kids knew we were poor. Well take care and thanks for thenice comment. Sandy

good
I used to play hopscotch.....im only 15.......
I guess its cause were we used to live we didn't ahve money for game boy or computers or tv, so we played jump rope, hopscotch, marbles, simming.
You jsut have to find the right places for it.
Your poem was really cute if a bit short sandy. keep up the good work!

Gee someone who remembers hop scotch. Be still my heart.
They were the good old days when kids could still be kids. They were truly the best time in my life. The fifties were awesome and COOL. Thanks again for the wondreful comment. Your bio in the giggling group made me laugh. Take care, Sandy

This brings back some memories too, why were they mad and spitting makes me grin as a reader
Mad at the kids chasing them maybe, this one would be pretty popular among school kids for sure. The Hop Scotch Girls ring to mind and all the funny songs they used to sing too while playing their games, I;m sure this would be more popular than you think, kids just love to laugh with a poem like this while reciting loudly
