Sometimes I wonder why it’s so easy to see the flaws of another
But our own are some how covered
We walk day to day with our self-righteousness and pride
Never stopping to think of the reason Jesus had to die
We complain and whine of the life we live
Never thinking to THANK him for the price, He did give
As his grace and love flows I know it covers me
Nevertheless,I wake I think, “It’s all about me”
I am a hypocrite, I hate to say
Do what I say and not as I do
It’s time to stop and think

silverael, i try to keep my focus on Jesus and stay away from religion. It's to bad your atheist most days, but I understand that its hard to believe in something you cant see. But I look at it like this, Ive never seen the wind but I have seen the effects of the wind just as I do Jesus. Its a faith thing really. Thank you for the comment. Peace & Love ~

Yes, Melanie, it is certainly about me. And having the presence of mind to ask yourself this question often, as you just did, is one of the ways of making hypocritical days fewer and farther between. Don't ever lose that honesty.
