When I talk about me, I always mention you
When I let my thoughts wander, they find their way to you
Why are you the center of my life
Why is it that without you, my best friend is this knife
Everything that I create
and every dream I fabricate
why are they all about you
Why am I so confused
and why do I keep blaming all my tears on you
Why is it that without you I feel so alone
Why am I so sad when you don't answer your phone
Why do I wanna spend my whole life with you
and why do I want you to feel the same way too
Why won't things work the way I want them to
Why am I so jealous of you
Why do I feel like such a freaking dunce
Why can't things just be easy for once...
Why can't we just be together?

I REALLY felt your pain in this one, hon....cuz I am RIGHT THERE WITH YA! Same situation....you did a fantastic job of relaying the angst, questioning, hurt, and pain. Good rhythm and word choice, too. It was an awesome piece. And by the way, I hope you get to be together before too long!!

Awwww! I honestly know how you feel. It's like me and my girl are together but at the same time I feel as though it couldn't really be happening. I feel as though one day I'll wake up and she'll have perished from my life
. I can't afford to lose her because she's all I got left and without her there is no me.
