Good morning my sweet Lord,
I thought I'd say hello,
you've given me a sunny day,
you've made the sunshine glow.
You must have heard my prayers,
as I laid in bed last night,
when I awoke this morning,
the sun was shining bright.
I know the sun is not shining,
in the blue sky just for me,
it's shining bright today,
for all the world to see.
Thank you my sweet Lord,
that's all I have to say,
now it's time to enjoy,
your bright and sunny day.
