Nestled together in this small space
where we made our life
back then being in love wasn't the case
so we really did try hard
at any time you could have walked out the door
but you didn't
and for that reason alone I am sure
that now we are in love
love and marriage should have come first
instead I drank and cursed
now that we a family again
we got our only child
her pretty laugh
and her smile is mild
she is beautiful
she has your brains
and my loving heart
she plays with trains
not Barbie cars
and its all because of us she is here
and I love her and you
and I will always care
and its happy times like these I want to shed my tears

A well written poem full of heart and I liked the message behind it too.When you love someone you love them so unconditionally that you transform them. Here you hint at some difficult times through which one loves the other and in time it all falls into place.
