I cry in my pillow tonight
I love her so much
But we fight all the time
When is enough enough
For the heart?
When does the heart say
It's time to move on?
I'm sick of all the arguing
I wish we could get back to
The way it was
When we first met
When I felt the butterflies
Just like all the girls do
I miss that feeling
But I still feel the love
When does it end?
Please tell me
Or does it?
Is this my fate?
To love someone I used to love
And only share arguments and fights?

i can completely relate, because i'm going through that right now. I haven't stopped loving him, but all we do is fight. So i decided to end it and get it over with, now i hate myself for cutting him off because he won't talk to me anymore, so i just lost my best friend.. *sigh* relationships are so confusing, particularly teenage ones, when all the hormones are going crazy but you're too young to make anything last. Good poem, you're emotion is strong in this work.

True love is being able to be 'one' with your significant other, making compromises, and seeing there there isn't TWO different people in the relationship, but one being (if that sounds weird). The romantic love is the spark, but it is the companionship love that is supposed to develop out of the romantic love and keep that relationship strong. Maybe you guys are just at the point of figuring out if you want to continue it or not, if both of you are willing to give up having 'your own time/space'. This was a good poem, made me think about alot of stuff. good luck with you.
