This poem was such a different one than most Haikus. You focused on one of the tiny pieces of nature that most busy people tend to overlook in their hurry to go go go. I really enjoyed the descriptive words, especially beckons. I've always liked that word really and truly. Such a simple Haiku but an excellent beauty to it.
Wonderful job!

Spiders creep me out but they are amazing and fascinating creatures. I like watching them make webs on my door (i'm inside of course!) The other day there was this GIGANTIC spider outside, the size of my palm! It was carrying a huge egg sac too. I got my daughter and we hurried safely inside! thankyouverymuch! Their webs are beautiful, especially dew glistening in the morning. I enjoyed reading this

Beautiful haiku and photo to go with it. I always loved the glistening spider webs that were sprinked with dew or rain. You did a great job with this haiku.

i've tried my hand at hiakus but, just can't seem to get them quite right...
i guess i always have more to say than can be summed up in so few words, but, you always seem to find a way around my shortcommings with such good pieces to make me think i can try it sometime!

Beautiful pic' and poem, Sis! I was just admiring a spider web with a big spider in its center last night on my walk. It was attached to a beautiful statue and surrounded by gorgeous landscaping with a water fountain. It was such a tranquil setting, I hated to leave. Hard to believe so much beauty could be found in a little plot of ground in front of half of a twin house. Next time I go for a walk, I'm going to take a picture of it..really nice (like your poem and pic').
Love Ya!

Once again I like the image you painted. In a few words you create a vivid picture in my mind.
I don't know much about Haikus but the most recognized form that I know is 5-7-5. This looks like 5-6-5.
Also that last line doesn't flow as well as the other 2 (my opinion)
But as always, you write beautifully
