Ice Age

For better or worse,
You’re only here by default,
No place to go,
No home to stay,
No one to love,
So you try to love me,
But I won’t believe in it.

You’ve sunk into
An ice age,
And you try to pull me in,
As I try to wrench you free.

The souls you claim to save,
In the ice age,
Well, you can’t save me.
