The Lost Friend

Why do i feel as though something has changed?

So many questions as to why i feel this way...

Life seems to have thrown me a curve ball,

And I had no sight of it at all...

Until now...I have known what I wanted and what I thought,

Now, I feel as though I've become lost...

Everything is different than it was before,

You're no longer knocking at my door.

I never gave you a reason to knock, or come by,

But now that you don't, I'm wondering why.

We used to be friends and we shared good times,

Now you only seem to be a picture in my mind.

Don't disappear on me, I never thought I'd say this...

But you're friendship means a lot to me, even if you've been tainted.

Author notes

This is really kind-of a dialouge to my friend Mike.  The tainted part may not make sense because it's kind-of a long story.  However if you really want to now what it means, just leave a comment and I'll tell you.

    ouch. i feel bad now. cuz my friend wuz emailin me kinda bout that subject today. she's mad at me cuz our friendship has grown apart cuz i'm living with another friend.
