At first I used to hear him at night
I was so scared; it was such a fright
But as I went along the way,
I noticed I heard him day after day
I noticed he came when times were rough
At times when I felt I had enough
When I was weak he encouraged me,
He told me not to lose sight of all I could be
He said he had faith in me, he knew what I was capable of
When I needed help, to turn to the man above
At first I was scared, I did'nt’t know what to do
But the voice was so sweet, it sounded so beautiful
I felt so lucky, I felt so blessed
I thought I had it better than all the rest
I had angel, someone I was special to
An inspiration to do all I needed to do
It was so hard growing up without my dad,
I felt like my angel was all I had
One day I asked this angel of mines,
How come you only come around during bad times?
The answer he gave me, I still can’t believe,
This is what he said to me:
My beautiful daughter, I am always here
When you wake in the morning, when you’re combing your hair
Everyday I walk you to school,
I always make sure nothing happens to you
I watched you learn how to read and write
I picked you up when you fell off your first bike
When you had your birthday parties,
I helped you blow out the candles; yes that was me!
I always turn out your night-light
I tuck you in and kiss you good night
Whenever I look down you,
I always whisper, “I love you!”

The poem is really great SporadicWrite, if more of us would listen to that whisper of a voice, our lives would be a whole lot better. The background is beautiful. I love the angel blowing the horn.
