in the halls of the unknown.
Tempting sounds, linger.
Raising spirits, forever upwards;
Towards jubilation and exultation.
Angels, gaze onwards, deftly defying
all thoughts of despair.
Majestic arias, in profound array,
seeks to enthral and comfort all;
Spiraling, amidst the very chambers
of our hearts;
Soothing, emotions into divine
peace and tranquillity.

I have one of the Anonymous Four's cd's. They sing in the style fo the 1200-1400's and research their pieces themselves. This write reminded me of their singing.

The music I was listening to was "Madam Butterfly" as I love Opera, but yes it could relate to any choral Music, the nun's here sing unacompanied when they do sing, it can be beautiful, especially xmas carols
Thank you for your kind words

Thank you

excellent!
This makes me think of the women singers of the 12-1400's. In that time they were not allowed to have instraments accompany them when they sung. I know towards the middle of the 1400's this started to change with the development of the Virginal and Harpsicord, but still.
Wonderfully written! Beautiful thoughts flow with this! -

well nothing bad.. i read it over and over and it feels like a comforting poem.. yet from the beginning... through halls of the unknown...kinda threw it off a little.. then it shows expressions of defying all thoughts of despair.. i like your imagery.. it soothes yet still is mysterious.
