I Don't Want This Dream To End

I look into the open fields
and
I dream of you.

I feel the breeze on my skin
and
I dream of us running in the wind.

I am sitting under my apple tree
and
I am wishing that you were here
with me.

I don't know when we will meet
again.

BUT...

When we do let's start off
by being friends.

BECAUSE...

If we don't this
dream will end.

I Love Dreams. Your mind can roam free without hurting anyone or being hurt. Great poem!

    don't touch it!

A wonderful poem, smiley. You speak of love and friendship, a beautiful combination. And dreams ...where would we be without them.
This s truly a lovely poem.

Good write. It shows compassion, love, some lust, but control of those feelings. It reminds us never to move to quickly.
