Shooting Stars

I think I’ve waited my whole life,
To find some who would treat me right,
And then he comes along,
In the middle of my sorrowed song.

He came at the worst time,
He came at the best time,
He opened me up for love,
He came at the worst time,
He came at the best time,
He made me believe in true love.

I was due for that miracle,
I was waiting for my turn,
He’s like a shooting star,
That brought me back to earth…

He came at the worst time,
He came at the best time,
He opened me up for love,
He came at the worst time,
He came at the best time,
He made me believe in true love.

I’ve waited my life for a happiness,
That I could call my own,
And finally he brought it to me,
With a smile and a ‘Hi’.

Tonight we will sing of our love.
